Refrigerated Air Dryers use of mechanical refrigeration system to cool the compressed air and at the same time condensate water and hydrocarbonvapor, most of these dryers cool the compressed air to a temperature of around 2 deg C which leads to a pressure dew point of 3 deg C. This is the preferred range because it allows the pressure dew point to fall with in the range that is attainable with common refrigeration. system control working principle

FUNCTION:
The saturated compressed air enters in advanced internally finned copper tube air to-air heat exchanger (pre Cooler/Repeater).
Here the incoming hot air is cooled by outcoming cold air.This is basically an energy saving heat exchanger,it helps to reduces the load on the refrigeration system. The pre cooled incoiming air enters in the Air to refrigerant heat exchanger further reducing the air temperature to specified dew point 3 deg c from this evaporator to cyclone moisture separator and water vapor condensate liquid droplets,removed Automatically by high efficiency Drain Valve.
The hot gas by pass valve maintains consistent dew point by sensing the suction refrigerant pressure.
